Job Overview
Duties and Duties
• Must excel in handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ensure strong relationships with shipping companies, carriers, and various suppliers and clients.
• Keep carriers on schedule and accurately submit shipping orders.
• Deliver quotes to clients promptly.
• Regularly follow up with both potential and current clients.
• Oversee both customer and vendor accounts in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and actively engage in sales and marketing efforts.
• Prepare weekly sales reports for the management team.
• Understand and apply the processes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of individual customers.
• Perform any additional tasks as directed by management.
Seeking Candidate Profile
Requirements:
• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in the logistics sector
• Ideally, with a background in Logistics/Freight Forwarding, and at least 3 to 8 years of experience in the UAE is a must.
• A Master’s degree in either Logistics or Marketing is preferred.
• A relevant diploma or certification in Logistics/Supply Chain or a similar field would be beneficial.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Must be a team player, proactive, self-driven, and possess a high level of responsibility, honesty, and integrity.
• Able to work autonomously and thrive in a dynamic setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration or an equivalent is required.
