Al Basma is a well-liked and very successful ENC School that has many students. We are looking for an EYFS teacher to join our successful EYFS team in August 2024.
Our school has seven classes and currently has 1,950 students from preschool to year 13. We opened a new primary building for students in Year 3 to Year 6 in September 2020. We are adding about 200 students each year and think we will have 2400 students in 3 years.
As a BSO school (EduBase No. 143834), we can provide a UK-recognized training program for teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) following the Early Career Framework, in partnership with ESP Education.

We use the 2014 National Curriculum of England and the new 2020 Development Matters Framework for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We use GL CAT4 and GL Progress tests for students in Year 4 to Year 10. We also provide various GCSE, iGCSE, iAS, and iA Levels from Cambridge, Edexcel, and Pearson for our older students. We have started to offer different BTEC courses to give students more choices in their learning.
The school got BSO (British Schools Overseas) accreditation for the first time in May 2016, when it was in its second year. It has been improving since then and received a good rating, with more excellent features, in May 2022. Since January 2017, the school has always received the highest ratings, Band A, in the ADEK Irtiq’aa inspections. In February 2022, the school combined its Very Good ADEK rating with many features rated as excellent.
