Roles and Duties
Manage the purchasing process, including finding suppliers, negotiating deals, and handling contracts, to make sure we get good quality equipment and supplies on time and at fair prices.
Work together with vendors and suppliers to build good relationships and make ongoing improvements in product quality, delivery dependability, and cost savings.
Keep track of stock carefully to avoid having too much while making sure there is enough to meet what customers want.
Improve how we move and manage equipment to make it easier to deliver to different rental locations and customer sites.
Guide teams from different departments in the Group to work together across countries. Help solve problems in the supply chain, reduce risks, and take advantage of chances to make our processes better.
Keep an eye on important numbers that show how well the supply chain is working, like how often deliveries are on time, how quickly inventory is sold, and how good suppliers are. If there are issues, take steps to fix them.
Lead and support the supply chain team, encouraging responsibility, teamwork, and ongoing learning.
Keep yourself informed about changes in the industry, market conditions, and rules that impact the supply chain. Adjust your strategies early to stay competitive and follow the rules.
Create and put in place rules and practices to make sure we follow safety, environmental, and quality standards from start to finish in the supply chain.
Create and put into action plans for managing the supply chain that match the company’s goals and help it grow.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a similar area – Master’s degree is better.
Having a certification in supply chain management, like CPIM or CSCP, is an advantage.
10 years of experience in managing supply chains, especially in renting heavy equipment.
Good at analyzing problems, finding solutions, and negotiating effectively.
Skill in using ERP and inventory management systems.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Focused on getting results and able to do well in changing situations.
Job Type
Full Time means working for the entire regular number of hours, usually 40 hours a week.
