Al Tawheed Government Services is looking for an experienced and skilled IT Administrator to join our team. If you love technology and enjoy figuring out tricky problems, we would like to hear from you.
People who have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or something similar, and at least 2 years of experience in a Government Transaction Centre like TASHEEL or AMER in a similar job can apply. Having worked at an Amer Centre before would be beneficial.
The person who gets the job will be responsible for various tasks, including but not limited to:
Taking care of and looking after the Centre’s computer systems, including servers, networks, and security.
Helping with technical problems and fixing hardware and software issues around the organization.
Setting up and checking safety rules to keep the company’s information and systems safe.
Monitor system updates, installations, and settings to make sure everything works well.
Keeping a list of all hardware and software, and making sure they are updated and replaced on time.
Managing the government portal, website, email system, firewall, and the SPAM and web filter.
Helping the administration and senior staff make sure the center’s management system runs well. This includes exporting data and creating and changing reports.
Setting up and keeping systems to watch network traffic, fixing slowdowns, improving network speed, and fixing problems.
Helping the staff and learning tech team plan for new network updates and changes in the future.
Keep informed about the newest technology trends and good ways to make the company’s IT work better.
Qualifications: What you need to meet the requirements or standards.
Experience working as an IT Administrator, Systems Administrator, or a similar job.
Good understanding of managing networks and servers, with experience in cloud services.
Skilled in using Windows and Linux systems and common business software.
Knowledge of good ways to keep data safe and protect against cyber threats.
Great at solving problems and can handle stress well.
Good communication and people skills to work with both technical and non-technical team members.
Having experience at the Amer/Tasheel Centre would be a plus.
