Roles and Tasks
Manage all stock movements between warehouses, from warehouses to stores, and between stores. Make sure these movements are recorded and updated to avoid mistakes. Give regular updates on orders that are still waiting, claims for damaged or missing items, and the process for getting more supplies.
– Check daily transactions to look for any problems and make sure the FOHD logs are created. Also checking the logs to make sure problems are fixed correctly.
Check daily RESA reports and talk to the right people to fix any mistakes, taking appropriate steps. Look into the negative stock and talk to the right managers to fix the stock counting issues.
Check the inventory regularly to keep a list of all available items, including any that are used up or added, so you can keep track of what is in the warehouse. This involves checking, keeping track of, and comparing stocks from SIN BIN, WMS, and RMS; managing appointments, and reporting on quarantine problems.
– Keep track of the ongoing stock take schedule with the assigned managers and stock take team, share the plan, and make sure everyone follows it. Watch over the inventory counting process, check the results with the management, and make sure the numbers match by checking the actual stock movements. Make reports about what we found and give advice and ideas to the General Manager. Work with the Loss Prevention Team to carry out plans to deal with stock losses that were created after counting the stock. Check the stock loss records in the General Ledger to make sure they are accurate. Keep an eye on accounts and share overall results for the business based on the set goals or standards.
Check and keep an eye on how much damage there is in the stores and work with the managers to reduce future problems. Make sure there is enough money available.
– Help internal and external auditors with questions about stock accounts, reports, how old the stock is, and matching financial accounts with inventory reports. Report shipment stocks separately and check for differences.
Keep track of items and make sure the system inventory is always up to date. Track where assets are located and recommend a plan for getting rid of old or unwanted equipment. Make sure the count matches the statement of account and start the approval process for writing off or destroying items when needed.
Look over the audit report, check the inventory issues, make sure everything is done as needed, and suggest any changes to the processes if necessary.
Ideal Candidate Information
– 5 years of related experience, including at least 2 years working in the Gulf area.
– A graduate, ideally in Commerce, with some basic understanding of accounting.
– Knowing how to use a computer
– Very organized and pays attention to details.
– To oversee and keep track of the inventory and stock, making sure there are few problems with the system stock. Keep an eye on and manage the movement of stock. Create rules and procedures to reduce mistakes.
