Job Purpose: The reason for the job or what it is meant to do.

Under the direct guidance of the Centre Manager and following the set rules, the person in this role is in charge of reception and administrative tasks to help the Centre run smoothly.

Duties

Welcomes patients and checks them in, then tells the medical staff they have arrived.
Gives free drinks to patients when they arrive.
Looks neat and tidy according to Aspris rules.
Checks and enters patient details and insurance information into the Tendercare software.
Follows government rules for the Wellbeing Centre.
Keeps track of patient complaints properly, following the Centre’s rules for handling them.
Answers phone calls, sets up first and follow-up appointments with doctors, and takes and shares messages.
You will receive training on how to handle calls so you can have helpful conversations and give useful information based on what patients ask for (but you won’t give clinical advice).
Share insurance details when needed and work with the insurance coordinator to help the patient.
Makes sure appointments are set for each day.
Responding to voicemail messages, emails, and messages from the website.
Talks and communicates politely with coworkers, bosses, and patients.
Keeps employee, legal, client, budget, and other Centre information private.
Gathers payment for consultations and gives you a receipt right away.
Manages cash and keeps the cash drawer count correct by checking it every day and reporting the results.
In charge of opening and closing the Wellbeing Centre every day according to the schedule.
Makes sure patients fill out the happiness feedback form.
Makes sure the waiting area has plenty of magazines and information for patients.
Performs the Fire Marshall tasks for the Centre and keeps a valid Fire Marshall certification.
Does the tasks of the Deputy HSE Coordinator when required.
Do tasks according to the schedule and your job role, for example: Answering calls and greeting people.
