We are looking for a PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT who can start right away.
You must have 2 to 5 years of experience as a Procurement Assistant. We do not accept new graduates.

We are looking for a careful and hardworking “Procurement Assistant” to join our lively purchasing team. The Procurement Assistant will be important in helping with buying things for the company. They will help find suppliers, keep track of purchase orders, and make sure that goods and services are delivered on time. This job is a great chance for a hardworking person to learn about buying and help our organization succeed.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Finding Suppliers: Look for and find possible suppliers or vendors. Get price estimates and discuss the terms and rules. Keep a complete list of suppliers.
Purchase Order Management: Help to make and handle purchase orders. Check purchase orders to make sure they are correct and have everything needed. Keep an eye on the order status to make sure it gets delivered on time.
Talk to suppliers to fix problems with orders. Talk to suppliers about when deliveries will happen and what is expected from them. Keep good relationships with suppliers.
Inventory Control: Keep track of stock amounts and update them to prevent running out of items. Help with regular counting of stock and checking it against the records. Work with the right departments to handle extra or outdated stock.
Keeping Records: Make sure to keep clear records of purchases, like orders and contracts. Organize and store these documents so you can find them easily later. Make reports and summaries when necessary.
Follow the company’s buying rules and guidelines. Help check and approve new suppliers. Keep informed about buying rules and the best ways to do things in the industry.
Cost Control: Help with looking at expenses and finding ways to save money. Find ways to save money without lowering quality.
Help the procurement team with their administrative tasks when needed. Set up meetings, keep calendars updated, and help with messages.
Needs and Skills:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a similar area (or related work experience).
Having experience as a procurement assistant or in a similar job is a benefit.
Knowing how to use procurement software and tools is a plus.
Good at thinking things through and finding solutions.
Great at talking and working out deals.
Paying close attention to the little things and being very accurate.
Can work alone and with others.
Good at organizing things and managing time.
Skilled in using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
It’s good to know the rules and best ways to buy things.
Open to learning and adjusting to new buying methods.
Being honest and following the rules when dealing with important buying information.
Job Type: Full-time (working all the time)
Salary: 4,000 to 4,500 AED each month.
Experience:
Procurement assistant: 3 years (Preferred) Preferred: 3 years of experience as a procurement assistant.
