PLANNER – at least 7 years of experience in the UAE.
Know how to use planning tools like MS Excel, Access, MS Project, and the latest version of Primavera.
Make a weekly and monthly report.
Know the tasks to be done, the amount needed, and be aware of the steps involved in engineering, making things, and building.
Do field investigations to make the scope clear as needed.
Learn about the WBS structure and collaborate with management and the project/maintenance team to create a work breakdown structure. This will help with measuring progress, planning schedules, estimating costs, and managing the project.
Create and manage a main schedule by breaking down tasks using scheduling software.
Know about contracts, use value methods, and understand how to manage project scope and changes.
Set up the schedule with different contractors and combine the information into the main project schedule.
Create a cost estimate and a schedule chart that shows when tasks will be done. Make sure to factor in the availability of workers, equipment, and materials, as well as the order in which things will be built.
Create a clear plan or steps for how to do the work as needed.
Create and update a chart showing the number of workers and equipment every week or month as needed.
Check how resources are being used and suggest ways to keep making good progress.
Create and use charts to compare the planned progress with the actual progress (like bar graphs or S curves). It talks about differences from what was planned.
