Jobs and Duties

Do regular woodworking tasks on ships and in the workshop. This includes making and repairing things like wooden frames, walls, floors, stairs, and door frames.
Oversee the workshop tasks, including building things on ships like panels, ceilings, doors, windows, upholstery, and furniture.
Work together with other team leaders and supervisors to make sure we use our resources wisely, aiming to successfully finish the project.
Regular checks on equipment, like: oil levels, how the machine is working, problems like breakdowns, and so on.
Help the Supervisors plan activities and make sure that all resources and staff are organized to meet the project’s needs.
Make sure the workers have all the machines, tools, equipment, and materials they need, and that everything is in good condition and working well.
Check the work to make sure the workers are doing a good job.
Make daily progress reports and let the supervisor know about any important information. Not having enough resources, having too many resources, health and safety issues, and quality problems.
Assess employee performance and training needs, encourage, and help team members grow.
Keep track of daily tasks related to your job to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Experience means the things we go through and learn from in life.

– 10 years of experience in carpentry and boat interior work, with 2-3 years specifically focused on this area. as a lead carpenter.

– Experience in the oil and gas industry and offshore work.
