Roles and Duties

In charge of overseeing the construction project to make sure it meets DIR standards and quality.

Tasks:

Oversaw the construction supervisor to help with site issues, make sure safety rules are followed, and check on the progress and quality of work.
Work with the authorities to speed up the final inspections and get the necessary services (like power, water, and drainage) and completion certificates released.
Make sure that projects carried out by other companies follow our rules and meet our quality standards.
Visit the site every day with the supervision consultant and the contractor’s project manager to see how the work is going, check the workers, and make sure the quality is good.
Make a report showing what was done each week and each month.
Check the qualifications of sub-contractors and visit their factories to have a clear understanding of what needs to be done and when it will be finished.
Check in with the consultant and subcontractor every day about all the contractor’s submissions, like materials and drawings.
Check the availability of materials at the site regularly according to the project schedule.
Make sure projects are finished on time and that clients are happy.
Check in with the Supervision Consultant and Contractor to fix any problems or issues.
Help clients with their ongoing support and maintenance needs.
Make sure that projects handled by other companies follow DIR standards and meet quality requirements.
Go to the Request for Change Meeting and clearly give the contractor the Engineer’s instructions after getting approval from your manager.
Create and keep good relationships with outside suppliers and subcontractors for warranty and support needs after delivery.
Do any other tasks given to you by your manager.
Job Candidate Requirements

A college degree in a related area.
5 to 10 years of experience in a related area.
Good leadership and people skills, with the ability to encourage and inspire a team.
