Supply Chain Manager:

If you have experience in supply chain management and want to advance your career, Emerson has an exciting job in Dubai for you. You’ll be helping the Emerson Discrete Automation Business Unit. You will create plans for buying products for customers in the Middle East and Africa, making sure they fit with Emerson’s overall goals. In this job, you will:

In this job, your duties will include:

Procurement Management: Manage purchase orders from when they are made until they are delivered. This includes making sure orders are confirmed on time, fixing any problems, and changing orders based on what is needed. Manage the introduction of new parts and the removal of old ones.
Planning for Supply Chain Growth: Create and carry out plans for buying goods that match our overall goals, both now and in the future. Work together with the Customer Service Team, Operations, Logistics, and Manufacturing plant to find ways to save money. This includes looking for different suppliers, combining suppliers, and improving processes.
Supplier Performance Management: Monitor and check important performance indicators, such as on-time delivery and how long it takes to deliver products. Hold monthly meetings to check how well suppliers are doing and make plans to fix any delivery delays or problems in the process.
Keep track of stock to meet production needs and service goals while ensuring accurate purchasing in Oracle.
Material and Production Planning: Manage how we plan for materials and production by using predictions to understand demand. Adjust purchasing strategies when necessary to make sure products are made on time.
Supplier Invoices and Payments: Check and approve supplier bills, especially the ones that can’t be matched automatically. Make sure payments are made on time by working with the finance and purchasing teams.
Perfect Execution and Happy Customers: Start projects that make sure everything is done perfectly so that products are delivered on time and customers are happier than expected.
Leading the Procurement Team: Guide and support a group of buyers to make purchase orders, ensure suppliers and factories confirm them on time, and achieve important goals set for the team.
This job needs someone who can adjust easily, talk well with suppliers and coworkers, and pay attention to both short-term and long-term goals. You will use your skills to analyze and solve problems to improve Emerson’s supply chain operations in the Middle East and Africa.

Who are you.
