In this job, you will lead and manage hiring for Etihad’s Flight Operations (but not for pilots) and for Network, Airport, and Cargo Operations. You will work closely with the HR team and Flight Operations/NACO leaders to come up with and carry out smart plans to help us reach our growth goals quickly and effectively. You will manage a small group of recruiters who find and pick candidates for important jobs. This job needs you to know about the air travel industry. You will also help with important projects that aim to improve efficiency and the experience of candidates, making Etihad a preferred employer for these groups.
Responsibilities
Create and carry out effective plans to find and hire skilled workers from around the world in a fast-moving and competitive job market.
Guide and support a small group of talent acquisition professionals, making sure they perform well and continue to grow in their careers.
Work together with Flight Operations, NACO leaders, and Workforce Planning to know what staffing is needed, future growth plans, and requirements. Make sure that recruitment goals match what is needed for operations.
Oversee the process of finding and choosing candidates for all Flight Operations jobs, except for hiring new pilots. This includes filling positions for pilot appointment holders, command upgrades, and recruiting for NACO in the Hub and around the world.
Use connections in the airline industry, search for jobs online, use social media, and work with recruitment agencies to find and identify possible candidates. This will help create a list of both current and future job applicants.
Oversee the planning and carrying out of the assessment and selection process.
Lead efforts to promote the company’s image and attract new employees for Flight Operations and NACO jobs, with help from the Employer Branding Manager.
Keep an eye on recruitment numbers and analysis to see how well hiring is going, find ways to improve, and make decisions based on data to improve the hiring process.
Keep working on making the process and the experience for candidates better all the time.
Education and Experience
7-10 years of important experience hiring for jobs in flight operations at a big airline.
Knowing and understanding the best ways to hire people in the aviation industry.
I have shown that I can lead and inspire small groups to get things done even in challenging situations.
A person who plans carefully and comes up with new ideas to fix difficult problems and achieve good outcomes.
Skilled in using hiring technology and able to use data to make decisions.
Great at talking and working with others, I can effectively connect with and influence important decision-makers.
