Fairmont The Palm is a fancy hotel on the famous Palm Jumeirah Island in Dubai. The hotel has 391 rooms and suites, including special Fairmont Gold rooms and a lounge. There are 11 places to eat and drink on the property, serving international food. Some highlights include Little Miss India, which was recommended by the Michelin Guide in 2022 and 2023, Frevo offering Brazilian barbecue, Seagrill Bistro, Ba Restaurant and Lounge, Blowfish, Flow Kitchen, The Cigar Room, and Vuvuzela, among others. Fairmont The Palm has a large pool and beach area, a fitness center, Serenity Spa Dubai for relaxation, and a kids’ club called Fairmont Falcons.

Create a marketing plan that includes the strategy, goals, budget, and methods you will use.
Create a plan for working with the media to get important stories published in newspapers, on TV, and online.
Manage all public relations activities.
Guide the social media team to connect with people using both old and new media platforms.
Use current media connections and build new relationships with business and industry journalists.
Handle questions from the media and requests for interviews.
Make content for news announcements, articles with your name, and main speeches.
Check, study, and share PR results every month.
Look for chances to collaborate, support, and advertise regularly.
Connect with influential people to increase awareness in the industry.
Stay aware of what’s happening in the industry that impacts our clients, and suggest the best communication approaches based on that.
Organize photo and video sessions, find locations, and give tours of sites for media.
Prepare financial paperwork to arrange work with agencies and other outside suppliers.
Create simple advertisements for business messages.
Manage marketing campaigns together with the Spa, Food & Beverage, and Sales departments to help the business make more money and get more attention for the brand.
Handle the supply chain steps and schedules.
Make sure that all messages to customers follow the brand rules and guidelines.
Work with the assigned agencies by providing a written brief that includes clear communication goals, the target audience, and any other necessary details. Also, make sure to keep everyone involved updated on the progress.
Check all communication materials to make sure they match the brand’s style and tone.
Help the Marketing and PR Director achieve the resort’s business goals.
Sometimes create materials like flyers, menus, posters, and banners for hotel screens.
Other jobs as given.

Requirements
You need to have real experience in public relations.
Has a strong history of creating and running successful public relations campaigns in both local and national areas.
Good connections with local and national news outlets that cover businesses and industries.
Has experience speaking for a company and is good at talking to the media, both on TV and in written articles.
Great writing and editing skills.
Good experience with social media like blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and more.
Experience in planning events
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a similar field.
At least 2 years of experience in Public Relations or a similar field.
A skilled public relations expert who is energetic, motivated, and creative.
Having experience with high-end hotels or luxury brands is desirable.
Good at reading and speaking English.
