We are searching for a young and energetic courier who is reliable and physically fit. This person will help us deliver packages to our important customers and be part of a great team in Abu Dhabi to make sure we meet and go beyond customer expectations.

You’ll join a team from different countries and cultures, where you can learn from others and share what you know.

This job is for someone who has a valid manual driving license from the UAE and knows the Abu Dhabi area well.

Your main tasks include, but are not just:

Pick up, move, and deliver supplies, mail, materials, paper records, and equipment every day, and take them to the right places.
Let your boss and the dispatcher know about any problems, new things that come up, and suggestions for changes.
Use good phone skills and manners when talking to customers or colleagues.
Offer fast and professional services for delivering and picking up customer packages by vehicle, while making sure to follow all FedEx and legal rules for safely handling packages. Do everything while keeping safe working and driving habits.
Loads and unloads trucks and containers, and sorts documents and boxes, making sure everything is done correctly and on time.
Make sure the vehicle and packages are safe by being careful and following the safety rules.

In good shape, can lift 32 kg and move 70 kg.
A valid UAE driving license and more than 6 months of driving experience (having experience with commercial vehicles is a plus).
Able to speak the local language(s) well.
Good speaking and writing skills.
Friendly and polite way of doing things.

Organizes and puts documents and boxes in a smart order to help make deliveries more efficient. Points out any differences in the agreed stop count and actively works with the route coordinator to balance the routes.

Gets the best results by using time well each day; this means deciding which tasks are most important and taking on extra work when able.

Uses specific tools to quickly and accurately scan, record, and transfer data for various performance tracking and compliance tasks.

Makes sure that all important papers (like delivery records, pick-up lists, time cards, etc. ) are filled out correctly. Also checks customer papers (like shipping documents, customs forms, and invoices) to make sure they are correct and complete. Gathers, organizes, and handles paperwork according to local rules.

Delivers packages and handles problems (like wrong addresses or closed customers) in a sensible order to meet service promises. This is done while following standard procedures and considering what the customers need.
