MAIN GOAL OF THE JOB
To help manage several warehouses for both inside and outside shipping, including predicting needs, planning what is needed, controlling inventory, communicating with suppliers, and making sure stock is restocked at both the main location and offsite caterers.
MAIN DUTIES
Creates and keeps up a list of vendors in different software systems that flydubai uses for food and other supplies. This includes managing vendor contracts, checking if deliveries are complete and on time, and organizing meetings about vendor operations and product development.
Keeps track of stock every day. This includes ordering items, checking where shipments are, managing the warehouse, following up on payments, and working with the buying, engineering, and finance teams to make sure supplies are always available.
Leads the inventory checks for all warehouses, making sure to be present when needed (for regular and special checks). Manages monthly equipment restocking and works with both outside service providers and the internal Finance Department.
Looks at how often reusable and single-use supplies are used in catering warehouses, based on the number of passengers and past usage data from weekly and monthly stock reports.
Checks in with suppliers and food providers about emergency cabin loading and monthly restocking of equipment.
Helps manage the Buy-on-Board products in the software system. This includes keeping track of stock levels, stock information, and stock needs for Point-of-Sale (POS) devices. It also involves checking stock amounts, fixing any stock problems, and overseeing all stock processes to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Looks at how Buy-on-Board products are sold, shares sales trends with coworkers, and keeps track of stock to make sure there’s enough during busy times.
Helps plan what is needed and manage suppliers for all catering supplies in logistics and support tasks.
Keeps in touch with clearance agents, shippers, local agents, and delivery services to make sure goods are cleared and delivered to the warehouse on time.
Regularly checks the equipment at the catering station to make sure it is being handled and stored properly, used efficiently, and approves any equipment that needs to be disposed of.

– A degree in management and some experience working in catering or supply chain in a catering setting.
Having a diploma in logistics and supply chain is preferred.
Licenses (if needed)
– You can get a Permanent Pass for Dubai Airports and have or get a valid Dubai Driving License that allows you to have a Dubai Airports Airside Driving Permit.
Languages
