To manage gathering data, checking costs, and paying vendors, as well as overseeing operating and capital expenses, you should handle project accounts, keep an eye on project progress, and build good relationships with vendors, all while meeting the goals of the IT Demand Management team.

Main Responsibilities

Main Tasks

Handles the management of operating and capital expenses, including starting Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) on time.
Makes sure vendors get paid on time, using about 45,000 days of work.
Oversees the execution of Turnkey and Fixed Bid projects given to our development partners, making sure they are completed successfully, on time, and within budget.
Handles the money side of the IT operating expenses, like keeping track of the budget, finding ways to save costs, and preparing financial reports.
Holds monthly meetings with vendors to discuss business and technology services, builds good relationships, solves problems, and works on making things better.
Checks and reports on the status of payments to suppliers, making sure they follow the agreed time limits for payments.
Works closely with the Purchasing and Finance teams to get quick approvals and payments.
Creates and tracks important measures to check how well vendors are doing, how good their service is, and how cost-effective they are. Uses information to make improvements.
Makes sure that vendors follow the contract rules and reach the set performance goals, quickly fixing any issues or problems.
Looks for and reduces problems that could arise with vendors, such as overspending, service issues, or disagreements over contracts.
Works together with important people to choose and bring in new vendors, making sure they fit with the organization’s goals and rules.
Looks for chances to improve processes, save costs, and make operations more efficient in managing vendors.
Keeps in touch with different teams inside the company, like IT, Purchasing, Finance, and Business Units, to make sure vendor management works well with the company’s goals.
Regularly checks how well vendors are doing and gives helpful feedback to improve their services.
Requirements
Basic Requirements / Experience / Knowledge / Skills

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (or something similar)
Education and Experience Requirements

Degree in Statistics or Business Data Science (preferred)
Good understanding and experience with airline technology, systems, and procedures.
Favorite Number Years of experience with a related degree: 5
Preferred Number. Years of experience (without a relevant degree, if needed) – 8
Systems, licenses, language, or certification needs.

PMP certification (from PMI) or Prince II certification.

ISR Needs
