We are looking for a driven and goal-focused Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our team.
Job Description: As a Business Development Executive in the EdTech field, you will find and chase new chances to grow the business. You will also build and keep good relationships with clients, and help increase sales. Your main job will be to sell our learning products and services to schools, colleges, universities, and other places that teach.
Main Duties:
Market Research and Analysis: Do research to find potential customers, understand market trends, and look at what competitors are offering.
Look at what customers want and share ideas to adjust our products and services to meet those needs.
Finding New Customers: Look for and identify potential customers using different methods like phone calls, emails, meeting people, and going to industry events.
Build and keep a strong list of possible clients.
Sales Strategy Development: Make and put into action a complete plan to achieve or surpass sales targets and money goals.
Work with the marketing team to create helpful sales documents and advertising materials.
Client Engagement and Relationship Building: Create and keep good connections with important people in schools and universities.
Understand what the client wants and needs so you can provide them with the right solutions.
Show our educational technology products and services to possible clients, focusing on their advantages and value.
Respond to client questions and concerns well.
Contract Negotiation and Closing: Work out deals and agreements with clients, making sure the terms are good for us.
Get signed agreements and finish deals.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Keep clear and current records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress in the customer management system.
Give the management team regular updates on sales and predictions for future sales.
Keep up with what’s happening in the EdTech field and new teaching methods.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or something similar (having an MBA is a bonus).
Willingness to work in B2B sales, especially in the education technology field.
Good knowledge of educational tools and trends.
Great at talking and showing ideas clearly.
I am focused on getting results and I work well on my own. I have a good history of reaching or going beyond sales goals.
Willingness to travel when necessary to meet clients and go to industry events.
Skilled in using CRM software and Microsoft Office programs.
Good at negotiating and managing contracts.
