Jobs and Duties
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Do auto electrical tasks as directed by the workshop supervisor by carrying out scheduled maintenance on all machines and equipment to meet the company’s standards.
Makes sure that low voltage electrical equipment is kept in good condition while following safety rules.
Find problems with equipment, figure out what caused the issues, and decide how to fix them and what spare parts are needed for a good and lasting repair.
Find problems in faulty units by using knowledge of electronics and testing tools to identify the specific part that is not working.
Understands and uses technical manuals, diagrams, troubleshooting guides, manufacturer specifications, warranties, and parts lists.
Finds and chooses the right spare parts by looking at them or using guides, and makes sure they are used properly.
Regularly checking electronic and electrical devices before problems happen.
Clears error codes and reprograms the transmission control units and other electronic controls.
Does other tasks as needed.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
School Background
A diploma in auto electrical work or something similar.
Work Experience in Similar Jobs
At least 3 years.
I have experience in maintaining car electrical systems. I have worked with mobile equipment and have some knowledge of CAN-bus and PLC systems. Basic skills in diagnosing engines and transmissions are a plus.
Additional Skills
Good understanding of electrical machines and tools.
Good understanding of maintenance and how to plan it.
