Where: Dubai Campus Objective of the Role: In terms of the advancement of its professional services, Heriot-Watt is about to enter an exciting new chapter. We are starting the process of creating a new framework for our Dubai Campus and recruiting center in addition to centralizing and realigning our admissions and recruitment teams in Edinburgh. The selected candidate will be accountable for organizing and carrying out a variety of tasks that help Heriot Watt Dubai meet its challenging goals for student recruitment and admissions for undergraduate, graduate, and research degrees. They will report to the Student Recruitment Manager or Admissions Manager, depending on their specific responsibilities. Student Recruitment Assistants are in charge of organizing customer-facing activities for all potential students, both on and off campus, and making sure the university is presented in an engaging manner. Processing admissions applications and providing a proactive, thorough follow-up service are the main focuses of this function in order to turn prospects into enrolled students. You will be a member of the team that offers all prospective students and applicants to the university an outstanding level of customer service, assisting them from the first point of contact to enrollment, and you will be based in the Student Recruitment and Admissions Team of our Dubai campus. As the initial point of contact for calls and emails, you will make sure the needs of the enquirer are satisfied and make full use of the CRM and inquiry management tools that are in place. You will also reply to them within the predetermined response timeframes. Working as a member of the team that offers administrative assistance for the direct application procedures is another need of the position, which is part of the admissions function. You will be a self-starter with great interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for education that you can combine with your love of providing excellent customer service to help potential students as they start their journey with Heriot Watt. An overview of the main tasks and responsibilities You will be a member of the team that offers every university inquirer first-rate front-line assistance. Your primary responsibilities will be to reply to phone or email inquiries, handle routine questions during events, guide potential students along their trip to Heriot Watt, and help with the application process. The Student Recruitment Manager or Admissions Manager in Dubai will supervise you while you work. Principal obligations and tasks: Serve as a representative of the university to various stakeholders, such as parents, working professionals, and prospective students. In order to maximize recruiting and conversion goals, always give outstanding application experiences and deliver customer-focused services and experiences. Use the CRM system to keep track of all interactions with potential HW students. In accordance with input from potential students and as part of the inquiry process, optimize lead acquisition. Working via a variety of channels for contact, such as phone, email, in-person interactions at events held on campus and off, but also offering customer support through inbound social media platforms, including Live Chats
