Job: Telephone Operator – Preferably someone who speaks Arabic.
As a Telephone Operator, your job is to answer phone calls for the hotel and connect them to the right person or room. Talk to guests clearly about hotel details and any emergencies. Contact hotel managers and city services during emergencies.
What will I be doing.
As a Telephone Operator, you need to do these tasks very well:
Respond to guest questions quickly and effectively to get good results.
Always provide great service to customers.
Take the right training classes when needed.
Show that you understand the different types of hotel rooms, their prices, special deals, and other basic information needed to do your job every day.
Stick to the company’s brand rules.
Help other teams when needed.
Answer calls from outside and inside the company.
Send the caller to the right phone line or room.
Help guests by giving them directions or any other information they need.
Speak to callers clearly and directly.
Type messages using correct grammar and spelling.
Check names and phone numbers.
Along with doing the main job duties, this position might also need to carry out some additional tasks. The amount of time spent on each task will be decided by the supervisor based on what the company needs.
Use the fax machine to send and get messages for guests.
Let guests know about their receipts using the computer.
Request help to fix and support all computer-based phone systems.
