Job Summary:
We are looking for a very organized and active woman to be our House Manager/Personal Assistant. She will take care of daily household tasks, manage the staff, and make sure everything in the home runs smoothly. The best candidate should have experience with handling money, managing staff, running errands, taking care of property, and planning events. This job needs someone who can handle many tasks at once, pay close attention to details, and manage personal and home tasks well.
Main Duties:
Managing Money:
Keep an eye on the kitchen, the workers, and the household budget to make sure money is being spent wisely.
Watching over Staff:
Watch over daily activities to make sure tasks get done.
Take care of employee schedules, time off, and vacations.
Help out when there aren’t enough people working.
Make clear routines and schedules for staff.
Home Plan:
Make and keep track of the family’s schedule, including the baby’s appointments.
Create and keep baby routines as needed.
Doing Chores:
Pick up fixed household items.
Buy home decoration and furniture, always looking for the best prices and good deals.
Managing Daily Home Activities:
Make sure that home tasks run smoothly and the staff do their jobs well.
Taking care of buildings and places.
Work with maintenance services for heating, cooling, water systems, cleaning, and more.
Make sure outdoor plants are healthy and take care of the garden.
Keep the pool clean and organized.
Paperwork and Office Work:
Write and send emails to hospitals, travel agencies, and other outside contacts.
Make reservations for restaurants, hotels, and other plans.
Planning Events:
Prepare and arrange the table settings for events held at the location.
Make event areas look nice as needed.
Hire outside help for catering and other services for events when needed.
Managing Stock:
Keep track of and take care of the things you own at home and personally.
Hiring Staff:
Find and hire people to help with household tasks when needed.
Work with agencies to find staff for travel or home.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
Requirements:
Showed clear experience as a House Manager, Personal Assistant, or a similar job.
Good at staying organized and doing many tasks at the same time.
Great at talking with people and solving problems.
Skill in handling budgets and making deals when buying things.
Experience in hiring and managing employees.
Knowing how to take care of buildings and manage supplies.
