Curtains and Roman Blinds Maker

Job Summary: This is a brief description of the job.
Saif Zone Sharjah needs an experienced curtain maker to be part of our team. The right person should have experience in making curtains and drapes by designing, cutting, and sewing them based on what the customer wants. You will need to measure areas, choose the right materials, and make sure the work is done well.

Main Duties:

Measure the windows and areas to find out how much fabric you need for custom curtains.
Cut, stitch, and finish curtains based on the design and type of fabric.
Make and complete curtains with folds, holes, rings, or any other styles requested.
Put in linings, hooks, tapes, and any other needed parts.
Help customers choose fabrics, styles, and designs that match what they like and need.
Change the curtains as the client wants.
Keep your workspace tidy and keep track of the supplies.
Fix broken or old curtains and drapes.
Keep up with the newest ideas and fashions in making curtains.
Abilities and Background:

We need someone who has worked as a curtain tailor or in a similar job before.
Skill in sewing, cutting, and measuring cloth.
Understanding different kinds of fabrics, curtain styles, and design methods.
Careful focus on details and accuracy in cutting and sewing.
Can use both hand-operated and machine sewing tools.
Good communication skills to understand what clients need.
Skills for managing time to finish tasks on time and handle several projects.
Ability to work well with hands and keep going for a long time while sewing heavy fabrics.
Schooling and Work History:

High school diploma or something similar.
It’s good to have training in sewing or textiles.
At least 1 to 2 years of experience in making curtains.
