The InterContinental Hotels Group has four hotels in Dubai Festival City. These include the fancy InterContinental, the nice long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the high-quality Crowne Plaza, and the lively Holiday Inn & Suites. Besides having more than 1,600 rooms, the four hotels feature 16 restaurants and bars, a large event center that covers 3,800 square meters on two floors, the 5,000-square-meter Festival Arena by InterContinental, a fancy Spa InterContinental, and modern gym and swimming pool facilities. We want friendly and lively people to join our team of over 1200 coworkers. Together, we work to make sure every guest has a great time. We appreciate how excited and dedicated our team members are, and we invite you to bring your excitement when you work with us.

A small look at your daily life.

Promote and sell InterContinental Hotels Group’s products and services by encouraging customers to choose more expensive options and suggesting additional items they might like.
Advertise the hotel’s and IHG DFC’s products and services.
Keep a good understanding of the products and services offered by all IHG DFC Hotels in your area.
Create and keep a consistent schedule for making sales calls.
Take and handle bookings made by phone, fax, or email.
Make changes to bookings, like extending stays or checking out early.
Keep track of special payment plans for groups and events.
Talk to the Front Office Manager or Finance Manager for any bookings that need credit approval.
Keep updated on special prices, deals, and promotions.
Keep track of booking amounts and update Managers about how many people are staying now and in the future.
Make reports when asked, like for travel agents, businesses, food and drink, and daily pickups.
Create reports for reservation sales.
Keeping an eye on the web supplier’s online system and checking all new bookings against the Opera PMS.
Checking on leads every day.
Handling no-shows and cancellations every day.
Collecting payment for prepaid bookings when customers make their reservations, either online using secure pay or by hand.
Check new arrivals every day.
What we need from you.

At least 1 year of experience in front office or reservations work.
Good understanding of Microsoft Office.
Good at writing and speaking English.
It’s good to know about Opera.
We want someone who knows Arabic.
Can work alone or with a team.
Skill to guide and inspire team members.
