Job Purpose: Oversee a team of colleagues, mentor, coach, guide, and motivate them to perform their job effectively. The objective is to achieve goals that contribute to the organization’s growth. Team leaders motivate and inspire their team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding among team members, and demonstrates flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day activities of the team.
Motivate and guide the team to achieve organizational/departmental goals.
Develop and implement a timeline to achieve targets.
Delegate tasks to team members.
Lead the team by example by demonstrating compassion, honesty, and integrity.
Ensure all personnel, clients, and their guests are greeted and attended to professionally, efficiently, and discreetly, where applicable.
Brief staff regarding duties before the shift starts in their respective domains (e.g., Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, etc.) to ensure the team remains up to date on directives from middle or higher management.
Compile duty rosters and advise on changes as applicable.
Prepare reports and maintain appropriate filing systems.
Manage stock and inventories, vendors directory, and contract agreements where applicable.
Handle all processes related to the supply chain, including vendor registration, creation of codes, and price updates.
Submit purchase orders and verify that the receiving process is managed correctly to ensure expenses are allocated correctly per the budget.
Report any operational problems, conflicts, incidents, or irregularities to the Supervisor, and highlight any technical issues promptly.
Professionally handle guests’ enquiries and complaints, recording relevant details and notifying the supervisor.
Ensure familiarity and adherence to compliance with respective domain policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Undertake regular checks and conduct audits to ensure hospitality services meet Jumeirah’s highest standards and client satisfaction, where applicable.
Experience:

Up to 2 years of experience, preferably with an international hospitality company.
Experience working in an international capacity with a clear understanding of cultural differences, showcasing trust and respect for everyone.
Exposure to working with a multi-cultural team.
