Duties:
• The customer understands their business well and knows what factors influence their decisions.
– Get to know the outside things that affect the customer’s supply chain and understand what they really need, how quickly they need it, and what drives their choices.
– Ability to understand what customers want from the start and provide helpful solutions.
• Be the main contact for your customers and make sure their shipments go smoothly from start to finish, including delivery, by working closely with both the customer and your team.
– Carry out cost-cutting plans based on buying strategies to keep costs low over time, while ensuring high safety and reliability standards. This includes careful planning and coordination.
• Keep an eye on shipments and let customers know about any changes to the delivery plan (for both ocean and land transport), along with possible solutions or options.
Make better use of important transport options like the rail and truck services we have contracts with.
– Create a good working relationship with both old and new suppliers.
• Working with suppliers to create a transportation plan and using a method called triangulation to make the planning better.
• Take full responsibility for ensuring customers are happy with Maersk’s products and services.
– Ready to do more for customers and focused on providing solutions.
• Look for ways to improve regularly and take action, both for customers and for people inside and outside the organization.

• Complete process of shipping an order from start to finish.
– Acting as Maersk’s representative to the customers.
