Roles and Duties

**Tasks and Responsibilities of a Logistics Specialist**

Keep track of and oversee how products and services move from providers to customers.
Make and put into action plans for moving goods and services to ensure they are delivered well and at a low cost.
Talk to suppliers, delivery services, and other service providers to agree on contracts.
Watch and report on how well the supply chain is doing, like if deliveries are on time and if costs are lower.
Keep track of stock levels and make sure the records are correct.
Take customer orders and make sure they arrive on time.
Work with people inside and outside the company to fix problems.
Build and keep connections with suppliers and customers.
Logistics Specialist Job Requirements and Skills

A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a similar subject is preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in logistics or managing supply chains.
Skilled in using Microsoft Office programs like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Great at organizing and talking to others.
Can work alone and take action when needed.
Understanding how logistics systems work and how processes are carried out.
Knowing how to manage stock and predict needs.
Job Type

Full time means working the entire number of hours required, usually 40 hours a week.
