You will give updates to the Facility Manager.
Will be in charge of finding, gathering, checking, and fixing all fire safety and general safety problems in the hospital.
The head of the security department watches over and guides the security staff to make sure that everyone—patients, staff, visitors, and vendors—stays safe and secure in the organization.
Will work closely with the hospital’s Engineering department to make sure that all fire detection and fire fighting systems are working well and being properly maintained according to the set rules.
Will be in charge of giving regular training to all staff on how to use fire-fighting equipment and will check their understanding of this training.
Will also provide guidance and check staff understanding for what to do in case of:
(a) Fire event.
(b) Harm to a person.
Harm to the offices or someone’s belongings.
Will keep in touch with the nearest Civil Defense and Fire Brigade Station to make sure that their staff knows about the fire fighting resources and the layout of the area managed by the Fire and Safety Manager.
Pay careful attention to how hazardous materials and waste are managed, stored, and thrown away, and let someone know if there are any rule violations.
The Fire & Safety Manager can step in whenever there is a situation that could quickly endanger someone’s life or health, or could damage equipment or a building.
Will act as the “Secretary” of the “Facility Management and Safety Committee” for the organization.
As the Secretary of the Facility Management and Safety Committee, your duties will be as follows:
Prepares the agendas for the “Facility Management & Safety Committee” meetings and writes down the minutes.
Collaborates with the “Facility Management & Safety Committee” to create and keep a current safety manual for the facility. Helps create and review safety rules and procedures for the department and the entire facility.
Keeps a record of all meetings for the “Facility Management & Safety Committee” according to JCI standards.
In charge of suggesting ways to make the safety program better to the Committee.
Starts or organizes any repairs or changes to fix known unsafe conditions as quickly as possible, through the person responsible for the area.
Goes to relevant training sessions when they are available and regularly teaches other staff.
Regularly updates the “Facility Management & Safety Committee” about findings, suggestions, actions, and assessments related to safety, fire safety, security, and utility management programs.
Regularly checks for dangers and reports any incidents.
Takes part in keeping things safe and in the JCI accreditation project.
Frequently carries out important safety and security tasks that are considered very important.
Use the same format and information for all planning documents.
Give a clear description of the planned service from the department.
Help in providing the needed services.
Talk about what staff should know and be able to do to help meet patients’ needs.
Work together and combine services within our team and with other departments.
You will report to the Facility Manager.

Keep in regular touch with the nearest Civil Defense and Fire Brigade Station so that their staff know about the fire fighting equipment and the layout of the area that the Fire & Safety Manager is responsible for.

Keeps a file of all meetings for the “Facility Management & Safety Committee” to follow JCI standards.
In charge of suggesting ideas to the Committee to make the safety program better.
Starts or sets up repairs or changes to fix any unsafe conditions as quickly as possible, working with the area supervisor.
Goes to important training sessions when they are available and regularly teaches other staff.
Gives regular updates to the “Facility Management & Safety Committee” about findings, suggestions, actions, and assessments of the Safety, Fire Safety, Security, and Utility Management Programs.
