Job Summary: This part gives a brief overview of the job.
We are looking for a careful Payroll Officer to manage payroll for our employees in the UAE. The perfect person for this job should know UAE labor laws well, be skilled at calculating payroll, and have advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel.

Main Duties:

Payroll Processing: Make sure to handle and calculate payroll for all employees correctly. Pay their salaries on time and follow UAE rules.
Tracking Attendance and Leave: Keep track of when employees are present or absent and their leave requests, making sure this information is correctly used for payroll.
Calculating Overtime: Find and check extra working hours for employees who qualify, following company rules and UAE labor laws.
Additions and Deductions: Make sure to handle all additions and deductions correctly.
Calculating End of Service (EOS) Benefits: Determine the benefits for employees who are leaving, following the labor laws in the UAE.
Manual Payroll Calculations: Manually calculate pay when needed to fix mistakes and make sure everything is correct.
Follow the rules: Keep informed about UAE labor laws and make sure all payroll activities follow the legal guidelines.
Reporting: Create and keep payroll reports for management to look at, including summaries of money earned, deductions taken out, and payroll patterns.
Teamwork: Work closely with the HR and finance teams to make sure that payroll issues are handled smoothly.
Record Keeping: Keep accurate and private payroll records and employee information, following data protection rules.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

Qualifications: Requirements or skills needed.

You have worked successfully as a Payroll Officer or in a similar job in the UAE.
Good understanding of the labor laws and rules in the UAE.
Skilled in Microsoft Excel, able to do complicated math and analyze data.
Great at noticing the small things and good at staying organized.
Good at solving problems and able to work well under stress.
Good communication skills in writing and speaking English (knowing Arabic is a plus).
Skills We Like:

Familiarity with payroll programs and systems often used in the UAE.
Knowing how to use attendance and leave tracking systems.
Skill in managing private information carefully and professionally.
Knowledge of accounting rules about payroll.
