Pet Caretaker

Reporting to the person in charge of the palace.

Location: Dubai Palace

Salary: AED 2,500 to AED 3,000 per month.

Food and a place to stay are provided in the Palace.

We are looking for a caring and experienced pet keeper to look after pets, mostly dogs of different breeds. The person who gets this job will take care of the pets by giving them food, exercise, and company. They will also clean and make sure the pets are safe and healthy. Watch your pet’s behavior and tell someone if you notice anything wrong. Get medical help if needed.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

– Give food and water to the pets and take care of their shelter.

– Clean and take care of the areas where pets live.

– Watch how pets act and tell someone if you notice anything unusual.

Give medicine and small treatments according to the vet’s advice.

– Keep track of the vaccination process and write down the details for each pet.

Take each dog for a walk at least two times a day.

– Give the dogs a bath, clean their nails, ears, and teeth.

Work with the buying team to get pet food and other necessary supplies.

Work with the pet grooming company to set up regular grooming appointments.

– Spend time with pets, help them exercise, and play with them.

Make sure the pets are safe and happy.

– Keep an eye on the pet’s health and let the manager know if there are any changes so they can get veterinary help.

Pick up after your pet and throw away their waste.

– Give the owner and manager updates on how the pet is doing.

Skills and Abilities:

– Knowledgeable about common pet food and supplies.

Good at finding solutions to problems and using resources wisely.

– Ability to make requests

– Good at English

Knowing Arabic is a benefit.

Qualifications & Experience: **Skills and Background:**

3 to 4 years of related experience

Having experience in a pet store or a vet clinic is helpful.

– High school diploma or something similar

– Previous experience with animals is a plus.

– You need to be strong enough to lift heavy pets and work outside.

– Can work well with others in a group

– Ability to follow pet care rules and take care of sick pets.

Job Type: Full-time (working all the time)

Salary: AED 2,500 to AED 3,000 a month.

Education: Learning and gaining knowledge.

You need a diploma.
