Jobs and Duties

Team Management and Leadership:

Guide and support a team of nurses and caregivers, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and ongoing learning.
Hold regular team meetings to talk about patient cases, discuss ways to improve our work, and make sure everyone communicates well at every level of care.
Manage the schedule and assignment of nurses to make sure that homecare services run smoothly and that there are enough staff to meet patients’ needs.
Help and support nurses with difficult cases by making sure they follow best practices and medical guidelines.
Assess how well team members are doing, find training and learning chances, and support the team’s growth.

Supervising Medical Care and Taking Care of Patients:

Make sure that the care plans for patients getting home care are followed properly. Check that all treatments and actions are done according to medical guidelines and doctor’s orders.
Check patients’ health regularly and work with nurses and other healthcare workers to make changes to care plans if needed.
Make sure to follow emergency plans and safety rules, using medical knowledge in important situations.

Management of Administration and Operations.

Oversee the everyday work of the homecare nursing team, which includes arranging patient visits, keeping records, and following health rules set by the DHA.
Make sure that patient records are kept correct, private, and follow local health laws.
Work closely with UniCare’s operations and management team to create rules, use resources efficiently, and improve how services are delivered.
Manage the storage and supply of medical tools and equipment, making sure all the needed items are available and kept in good condition.
Put in place steps to check and improve the care and service at UniCare Home Care all the time.

Rules and Quality Checking:

Make sure all nursing tasks follow DHA rules and UniCare’s own guidelines.
Keep an eye on infection control methods and make necessary changes to ensure a safe and clean place for care.
Take part in inside and outside checks to make sure UniCare Home Care follows all healthcare rules.

Talking and Connecting with Patients:

Be the main person to talk to for patients’ families. Help with their questions, give them updates, and make sure they have a good experience.
Teach patients and their families about treatment steps, how to manage medications, and ways to stay healthy.
Work together with outside healthcare experts like doctors, physiotherapists, and specialists to give complete care for home patients.

Candidate Qualifications Needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

A current and valid DHA Registered Nurse License.
A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a well-known school.
You need at least 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervising or head nurse position. It’s better if you have worked in home care or community health.
Good leadership and team management abilities, with the skill to inspire and lead a mixed group of healthcare workers.
Great skills in organizing things, solving problems, and making decisions.
Skilled in healthcare management programs and electronic health records (EHR).
Great communication skills in English (knowing other languages like Arabic or Hindi is a bonus).
Experience in handling patient files, keeping track of rules, and organizing staff hours.
