Bar Host / Hostess (preferably Female)

About the Job
Duties:
Customer Service: Welcome customers when they come into the bar, talk to them, and make them feel at home.
Seating Arrangements: Show customers to their tables or seats and make sure they are comfortable.
Taking Orders: Get drink and food orders from customers and send them to the bartenders or waiters.
Upselling: Recommend other menu items or specials to customers to boost sales.
Entertainment Coordination: Work with the entertainment team, like DJs or live performers, to make sure guests have a great experience.
Keeping it Clean: Make sure the bar and tables are always clean and neat.
Handling Payments: Take payments for drinks and food, including cash and credit cards.
Watching Guest Behavior: Pay attention to how customers are acting and step in if there are any problems, like bad behavior or too much drinking.
Promotional Activities: Help get the word out about special events or deals at the bar.
Make sure to follow all laws, like checking someone’s age before they can buy alcohol.

Requirements:
Customer service skills: Good people skills and communication are very important for talking to customers.
Experience in hospitality or helping customers is preferred.
Understanding Drinks: It’s useful to know about different kinds of drinks and cocktails.
Teamwork: Can work well with others in a busy place.
Be polite and respectful at all times.
Flexibility: Being open to working nights, weekends, and holidays when the bar needs it.
Physical Stamina: The ability to stand and walk for a long time and lift things that are a bit heavy, like boxes of drinks.
