HIRING AN ARCHITECT OR INTERIOR DESIGNER

A degree in architecture or a similar area (like Interior Design).
It’s good if you have worked before as an Architect or Interior Designer.
Great at drawing technical plans.
Good at talking and managing projects.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and programs like AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
Good at talking to people and giving presentations.
Meeting with clients to understand what they need.
Handling design projects from the initial ideas to the finished product.
Creating and showing project ideas.
Changing designs and plans to fit what the client wants.
Making drawings, plans, details, and construction papers.
Doing research and putting together reports on how possible something is and what effect it might have on the environment.
Following safety rules and local building laws.
Figuring out and sticking to budgets and schedules.
Leading project teams and working together with other construction workers.
Good at thinking of new ideas and imagining things.
