CATEGORY MANAGER.

Responsibilities

– Develop and manage assortment strategy;

– Develop and provide a consistent category management approach & guidelines for the categories: assortment, shelving, merchandising;

– Develop and sustain regular processes and reports: measurement and analytics of sale and category metrics;

– Work closely with other departments, such as marketing;

– Search, select and evaluate suppliers of food and ready meals;

– Сontrol and stimulate sales of the product category;

– Market monitoring by category, analyze the competitive environment.

Qualifications (Essential)

– At least 1 year in Category Management (food industry) in the UAE or MENA region;

– Experience of building relations and leading negotiations with retail clients;

– Strong analytical experience;

– English at upper-intermediate or advanced level.
